Welcome to NHD in PA @ Messiah!
This year's contest is tomorrow!: Saturday, March 2, 2019.
A number of you have inquired on the status of the NHD contest due to some predicted weather for tomorrow. This is the first time the NHD contest at Messiah has encountered such a situation involving bad weather. We are on the line between snow or rain. At this time we plan to proceed with the event as scheduled. However, Messiah College’s Vice President of Operations and her team are monitoring the situation based on NOAA forecasting. Should the situation change and the college reverse its policy we will be informed about this by 6am on Saturday morning.
Check back as we will post weather related updates here.
The college will also update their website with any delays or cancellations at www.messiah.edu
No matter the weather tomorrow, use caution, and plan to arrive via the main entrance on campus off of Grantham Road.

It helps students further develop their research skills and bolsters their confidence, which ultimately improves their academic success! Participating students spend months brainstorming, researching, writing, editing, and preparing for competition.
Judging the History Day competition is a great way to get involved in this event and provide students feedback on the projects they have spent so much time and energy creating. Judging is key to the success of the History Day program! We very much appreciate your time and energy in participating as a judge for the regional competition here at Messiah College and look forward to your participation this year.
Thank you for supporting National History Day®! Truly, this day could not happen without the interest and support of you, our judges.
